In the Hellenic Airspace (FIR), Area Control is provided and administered by the two Control Centres of Greece: the Athinai ACC, and the Makedonia ACC, operating under the same roof at Athens Hellenikon.
Makedonia ACC borders to the North with part of Albania, Skopje and Sofia FIR's; to the East with Istanbul and part of Ismir FIR, and to the South and West with Athinai ACC. The latter has Makedonia ACC and part of Albania to the North; Brindisi and Roma to the West; Malta and Cairo to the South, Nicosia and part of Ismir to the East.
