The Samos is located in the South-Wastern side of island, and in distance of 3 kilometres from the Pythagorio and 14 from the capital Bathi. The openings became on 23 June 1963. On 4 May 1976 became the first charter flight. The building infrastructure of airport is 7.000 m2.
