Zakinthos Airport

The history of airport of Zakynthos begins 1972. Then was built a small building of terminal 4 kms from the centre of city and operated initially with domestic flights. In June 1981 finished the new terminal. The area of building installations of Airport is 2000m2. They have begun work for extension of apron and the manufacture of new building of terminal and configuration of the environment space. The new terminal will be developed in three level, total area of 13,900m2.
